APPS FOR THE HOME GARDENER
SMART PHONE & TABLET APPS

There are many, many apps for gardeners, some more useful than others.  Below is a list of some 50 apps which might be useful to the gardener in Middle Tennessee. Recommended are apps published by the AG Department from various universities as these apps are more science based and are not biased to certain products; the closer the university is to you location the more likely the informations will be meaningful.

In the file below informations about the app's size, publisher, cost are provided along with a rating either from the app store or from personal experience. This list is certainly not exhaustive and new apps are made available frequently.  One can find lists of apps on the Apple applications website at: https://www.apple.com/ios/app-store/ or directly via the Application app on you iOS device.  One can find lists of apps for Android and Google devices at the Google Play Store at: play.google.com.  Search key words such as garden, gardening, plants, etc.
